Yesterday, a friend , younger woman who doesnt sew, said that her grandson has so many tshirts that he doesnt wear. She would like to make something for him with them. I suggested a tshirt quilt or even a smaller throw. She thought it was a great idea. She said she will start saving his shirt for a future quilt. I told her if she has even one that is his favorite, she could make a throw pillow. He is about eight years old .
There arent a lot of ideas for making "boy stuff" and I think boys do like t shirt quilts. If they have a collection of sports shirts or camp shirts, shirts saved from each year of their life and given to them as a graduation gift would be nice. Most moms get rid of outgrown clothes but keeping one or two wouldnt take up much space
Some dads might like one also. These would be good to take on camping trips.
Have a great day.

I love making t-shirt quilts. They truly are memories for people. :-)
