There is always the "ten minute runner" that's super easy and fast. Just google it and there are youtube demos on it. Hope that helps!

My linking skills are lacking but if you have youtube, it is under Make Christmas table runner using the half-hex ruler. My version is under the post MSQC. Christmas table runner- quilted. I changed the appliqué star in the center to a pieced star and used my large triangle ruler instead of the half hex on about page 6 of the replies.

I made several of this same one last year....the directions are a bit confusing but after I figure it our they went together fairly quickly and do up really nice!

It just doesn't get any easier than this! It's my go-to quickie gift.

Please consider the suggestion for the runner found on "Quilt Bug". I just used it a couple of weeks ago and it is Really, Really easy. It took longer to cut the pieces than to put it together and it is an easy one to cut! Enjoy it.

A VERY simple table runner is called the 10 Minute table runner. It literally takes 10 min. to put together! Do a search and you will find it. Have fun.

If you have a favorite quilt block, you can make a few of them for a table runner. Add sashing if you want, and a plain or fancy border. No pattern needed! :-)
