Default Taking Boxes and Beyond at VQF

I am taking Boxes and Beyond by Colleen Wise at this years Vermont Quilt Festival. I need help choosing fabric and could not find any samples of this pattern online or here. This pattern is sort of like Tumbling blocks and we can choose just three fabrics with black or we can do scrappy. I would like to do it in grays, since I always wanted to do a gray Quilt.
Any one do this quilt? Any help...pictures especially.
Anyone going to Festival (June 23-27)?
Thanks in advance for any help.

If it is related to Tumbling blocks or the hollow cube design, I have found those have the greatest effect when you choose a light, medium and dark value of the same color. Then you get that real 3-d effect.

Here is a link to her website for workshops and the quilt is pictured there. She does amazing stuff. sounds like a great class!

since you like greys, i'd go either 3 shades of grey or B&W and grey. it would be stunning

I think you would need more than grey. The photo on Pinterest has browns and turquoise.
