Default Freezer paper and having way too much fun

I have been trying and not succeeding too well to applique..My fingers just do not want to behave and do what they are told to do Well, after reading and doing some investigation about it, I saw where freezer paper works very well..So, I went and got some..Needless to say freezer paper works WONDERS!!! Not only for making applique work easier but I am having a blast at creating my own designs..I love it

Try using it with paper piecing - don't sew thru the paper, just fold it at the seam line and sew along the fold.

I've been playing around with it also. I layer mine 3 sheets thick and iron them together, does anyone else do this?

Hmm, have not tried that yet..What exactly do you do? Sounds interesting and would help cut back the time cutting one out each individually..

great for quilting also.....cut out your shape like a sillouette and then stitch around it...use it over and over....by tracing around it on another piece of freezer paper (plain sides together) you can have a 'mirror image' of your original design
