the last gridded plastic I bought (years ago) didn't measure exactly the same way in both directions.

might want to double check it before cutting it.

it is funny you say x-ray film. i remember my first quilting class in 1968 someone worked for a doctors office and introduced this. i guess the oldies still work. sometimes we forget these things when all the high tech stuff is calling out to us from the shelves.

reusing is still best, isn't it.
