Same as Irish Rose. At a recent class, my embroidery machine was in a snit. The owner gave me a pack of those and the problems were solved.
I do have a box filled with Klasse and Schmetz various types and sizes but will stick with these for now. I do change needles regularly. My dealer recommends to change out needles after eight hours of stitching.

My Elna came with Organ needles, and the seller said the machine threader preferred them. I haven't gotten the threader to work for me yet, so I also use the Schmetz needles I had on hand. I use 80/12 size for piecing and 90/14 for quilting.

The same as mic-pa, Organ needles purchased on Amazon. It is the only kind my Janome machine is suppose to use. They work well. Otherwise, the Schmetz Microtex 80/12, because they have a very sharp point and I have a lot of them that I used to get at JoAnn's when they were 50% off.
