    I used to blame my kids for messing with my sewing machine, now I wonder if it wasn't Cat-thine, who has long gone to her reward. She was one of the busiest cats we ever had.

    That isn't the tension knob - that is the stitch length regulator... If that cat was after one it would go after the other - good thing that isn't a serger...
    Never let a sewing machine know you are in a hurry.
