Default Tetris Quilt f

The fiancé and I stopped at a fabric store today. He helped me pick out fabrics for a Tetris theme blanket requested by my best friend, Drogun. Drogun is deployed right now in Japan with the USMC. I had thought about making him a QOV but he beat me to the punch by requesting this one! Will post pics when finished.

Sounds like a great way to show your appreciation! How fun that your fiancé went shopping with you.

I don't know if you have a pattern in plan yet but, check out under "Pictures" my "Time to Defrag" quilt. It would make an awesome Tetris quilt. I almost called it that but that would have taken a little more planning than I wanted to do. If you substitute black instead of white and put the blocks in order of the units, it would work great.

What a great guy to take you shopping for fabric. and it it terrific for you to make this quilt for your friend. One of my cousins was station in Japan by the Navy and he found it totally enjoyable place to explore.

I have this quilt on my bucket list - I am not sure which pattern I am going to use. I drew at least one of them up in EQ7. what a great gift!
