thangles are these paper strips with the stitching and cutting lines printed on them..you put 2 strips of fabric right sides together, put the paper on top of one strip and sew.

You're not totally alone, I hate them too. I use the four at once method with one big square and four smaller squares or I use a Gizmo from Sally Schneider.

It is the accuracy that keeps me using them. I am doing a BOM at my LQS and Thangles is part of the package. I bought a pack of Thangles for $5 and each month I get 2 strips of fabric and a pattern for $1. Can't beat that!! Already bought the finishing kit ($45) because I'm excited about how perfect all my blocks are!

Yes, I've used them to make a quilt which would have driven me crazy if I hadn't had them. They're great when you are making dozens of Flying Geese.

Me, tooo!!! I LOVE them! The CD is called "Triangulations" and you can print whichever size you need as many times as you want. It makes Half-square triangles and Quarter-square triangles MUCH easier and without wasting fabric.

I do the same thing my local shop often has a "buck a block "program that uses thangles .I have made a few throws this way.

I love Thangles and Triangles on a Roll. I learned with the Thangles, I need to cut my strips of fabric a little wider than the actual Thangle paper. This assures me a perfect HST or QST.
