I just wanted to post a public Thank You to JoEllen. I purchased her Alto's QuiltCut2 and received it in the mail today. I had mentioned when I sent her the money that my birthday was the end of last week and was looking forward to spending some quality 'selfish' birthday time learning to use my QuiltCut. I sent her a note earlier to let her know that I had received it. I just got around to opening it a few minutes ago and discovered a small package wrapped in birthday wrapping paper. On top was an envelope addressed to me. Inside the envelope was a very pretty Birthday card. Inside the package was a really beautiful piece of fabric. I will try to post a picture later. WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!!!! Totally uncalled for and wonderfully fabulous. Not only was it a great package but a beautiful fabric to go with it. Now, I was planning on going to the fabric store to pick up some fat quarters during a sale, but will also be purchasing some fabbies to go with my beautiful new present fabric. I will be using the present fabric to make me a pretty new throw to use in my office/craft room when I am stitching - either quilting or cross-stitching.
Thanks again SO much. What a nice surprise to have on what has been a rough day. First, the joy of finding my very much anticipated package and then the unexpected joy of my extra special parcel.
