Thank you so much, to whoever it was that mentioned how to properly press our blocks, a couple of weeks ago. I tried to find the post, but couldn't.
They mentioned to finger press the seam over to the one side then just press the iron down on it to set it.
I know this sounds stupid but I didn't really know how to press things. Now that I do it correctly there is a huge difference in my 1/4" seams. I was mangling all my seams with the iron after I sewed them.
It just goes to show that no tip is to small to be shared.

I've been quilting for years and had never heard of pressing the seams as sewn before pressing them to one side. I saw it on a video by Eleanor Burns... it does make a wonderful difference.

I never knew the difference between pressing and ironing until I read about it here :D :D :D Less wonky blocks for me now :D :D :D
