I am starting to receive some of the Candlequilter Star blocks that members here are making and I would like to say thank you to those who have sent them. I am trying to send individual PMs but some of the blocks don't have the board members name on them so I am having a hard time figuring out which board member they came from. So with that said I am sending out this huge thank you to everyone that has sent a block(s) out to me.

Thank you greatly,
Sherryl

Not sure you getting mine. It would make a better bowl.

LOL - I remember some of mine looking like that at first, but alot of starch and a good press does wonders. (Add some quilting to that and you'll never know otherwise).

I am sure that your block will work just fine, besides I don't think a single one of my quilts have been perfect yet. They all have a touch of the human element in them. That's part of what makes me keep quilting, striving for that perfect one! I hope my kids appreciate that one if and when it happens because they will have to bury me shortly thereafter    .

Please send me your block to use in my charity quilts.

Thanks,
Sherryl

I had one of those myself just this week until I took the paper off the back and then it laid nice and flat. I like to press my block after each seam and I think the steam messes with the paper causing it to curl.

Thanks again,
Sherryl
