Thanks for the inspiration, a first for me!

When there's time, I peruse the Archive (bottom link on the full web page). I've found the next five projects I want to do of course while I'm still finishing my last project, right? The One Block Wonder...I couldn't resist! Simple shapes, no scary curves, the effect of a fussy cut (sort of) without the pain? I'm in!

I found this fabric fairly inexpensively and decided this will be my 'practice' OBW. When I have this one under my belt I've got plans for something truly pretty. I'm so excited though, what fun!!

Wow, wow, wow! Now you have me wanting to make a OBW. Onto the bucket list it goes. I will need to find "just" the right fabric. Aw shucks, more fabric shopping??? LOL Thanks for posting that gorgeous quilt.

To assist you in choosing fabrics for a OBW, type oneblockwonderdesignhelper into google. It's free. Open fabric on bolt, take a pic, go to design helper and import pic, change fabric width to 20" if pic is taken with fabric folded on bolt, and make and then make hexies. You get a preview of what your quilt will look like. Very helpful as some fabrics I thought would work great turned out to opbe only so-so. Happy Quilting!

I love your OBW, I am also addicted to them. So far I've only finished one top, but have fabric for several more. I am not so good at picking fabric as you are and I've started two only to be unhappy with not having enough contrast in my blocks.
I also love making 4PP and have been more successful with them. lol

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet.
