Recently I asked where to buy fabric in New York as my daughter is holidaying there. I got some great advice from this board as to where she should go and decided on City Quilters. She went there yesterday and bought me some unique NY fabric which I will treasure. So thanks so much to Jodie and others for your advice.
She is now off to Montreal and was wondering if I am stretching the friendship by asking if there is a good quilt shop there ?? Cheers from OZ

Ok, here it is, I'm not sure that April Cornell sells fabrics but she has a lot of quilted stuff and her fabrics are just gorgeous, you can google and you'll get her site.
If you google quilting shops in Montreal, Quebec Canada, you will get 3 stores including the Calico one and this will give you the map where they're located, I think it's easier that way as your daughter can find them easily. I only know the Calico store, the other 2 are unknown to me, just give it a try.
Good luck
