You did a beautiful job quilting it, and I vote of for Flower Basket, although I've heard it called by both names.

how lovely; so good of you to finish it...
there are two different quilts online that look very close --
one is flower basket and the other is cake stand...and that is on [Univ of Nebraska] website:

Actually, it's called Cake Stand... Flower Basket has a handle at the top.

This is one my Mom did over 30 years ago. I have her notes, and this one is Flower Basket. So it's a bit different than the one you have.

You have plenty of block name opinions.... I just wanted to say how beautiful it is .... and your quilting on it is just perfect for the piece. Whoever receives it will be one lucky duck.
