Hi Rather B Quilting
I use shirting interfacting. right side to right side , then sew on
line , then trim leave 1/8" make a hole in interfacting turn . put on the place you need it . If you need a sample .pm me

Be careful not to overheat the iron if you use fusible stabilizer. It sounds like a great project.
