While on the subject of ironing boards. This is the ironing board I have. I LOVE it but it doesn't have a horizontal iron rest.

Rough estimate of ironing 2 hours a day for 30 days= $14.40 a month
That's about $180 per year.
I'm thinking of running an extension cord to the neighbor's house

The iron doesn't pull power the whole time it's on. When it reaches the selected temp it stops until the temp drops then it reheats for a few seconds to bring it back up. The iron isn't sitting there drawing power every minute so the cost will be much much lower then the calculator shows.
