Can anyone tell me please if there is such a thing as a block pattern called St Johns Cross ? I think I read about it somewhere but I am not sure now as it was a while ago. I would like to have a go at making a quilt to help raise funds for our Anglican Church St Johns and this would be very appropriate if there is such a pattern.
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks.

I have found this block which is sort of how I recall the St John's block. I wonder if this is it, does anyone know this block by another name perhaps?
It is really pretty and I can see this made up in little scraps of check.

The cross of St John is the Maltese Cross. Try this http://www.quilterscache.com/M/MalteseCrossBlock.html

I believe the Maltese Cross is correct, though I do like the one you have shown. Perhaps a combination could work, or maybe some design elements from your actual church building, windows, floors, ceiling patterns. Would love to see what you decide on.
