I am making 2 twin size scrappy nine-patch quilts. Ready to put borders on. How do I put the sandwich together, pins or spray on stabilizer and what kind? I plan on fmq them myself on my Kenmore sewing machine. Will this be too hard to do?

I use 505 basting spray, it seems to work well without too much smell. I am still practicing FMQ and haven't done a quilt so I would suggest you make a practice sandwich and give it a try

You have 3 choices on making the sandwich, pin baste with lots of safety pins, sew baste it, or the basting sprays. I guess depending on the size of the quilt which I would use. I have only used the basting spray once on throw size but did straight line quilting.

I hear practice is the key to FMQ.
