Hey hey I got three here in the land of fruit and nuts and paid $100 to $180. One was a white/creme one the $180 case etc.

These are pictures as they were sold and we had not cleaned them yet.

My grandmother used to have a saying -- "asking is one thing, getting is another"

In other words you can ask whatever you want but chances are you won't get what you're asking for it.

I would love a featherweight, however, I don't "need" it so I can't see paying a ridiculous price for one. Some people lists them for way to high a price. There was a lavender one with white hearts painted all over it, on ebay the other day for $1750. It wasn't even cute or pretty. I want one that looks original. One day I will find one for a price that I can see paying, and will get it. Until then, I'll just keep looking and wishing.

I agree! The red one is gorgeous and did you see the box? If I had money to burn, I'd love to have this item!

Man someone really doesn't want to sell their machines huh? The red one has been one the new things where they take the old machine and repaint it loses value I think and you can get those around here for no more then 500 bucks. As for the other machine I have two just like that different years original everything including the books and I certainly didn't pay those prices and won't ever sell them even at those prices.
