I think they are a stupid waste of something that so many people wish they could have for the use they were designed for. What kind of fool uses antiques for such nonsense.

I think they're really cute and hope they get good homes where they will be used, whether by children or adults. It's just another way to re-purpose something that might otherwise go to the trash pile. Face it, there were millions and MILLIONS of these machines made. I have several that I'm saving, but there aren't enough people interested to save them all.

Come on now. We all have different interests and if some of us are clever enuf to turn an old machine into something someone else can enjoy, great. It is being used, is what counts. To each his own, no?

That is adorable! I love vintage machines, and love seeing them used for their intended purpose, but if you're going to do something else with them, this is a great idea. Especially if you used them for parts first!

Think positive....maybe the rest of the parts taken off the machine were used to repair some of the ones we are buying and using everyday....I hope!

I'm hoping the machines were way beyond restoration when they were made into these. A little creepy though...kind of reminds me of the mean neighbor boy in Toy Story somehow.

There are lots of old machines that aren't worth repairing. I'm glad they are getting a second life and not tossed away.

That is what I choose to think. Maybe they were in a barn rotting somewhere.
