Been trying to figure out what pattern to use for a black and white quilt.
(the b&w swap was my inspiration)
been looking for several days and here's the one I picked.

Hubby and dd#3 have approved the pattern ;)

This will be for ME!!!! and I'm sure if I'm not mad now I will be totally certifiable by the time I'm done with this.

That will be awesome and you won't be crazy- you'll be cozy with your new quilt!!

throw some red in it too - I love splashes of red in B&W quilts.

Thanx for the votes of confidence. Found some gorgeous blacks at a LQS today...
I coulda bought 10 but decided 3 yds was enough for 1 trip ;)
Just need to find a couple more "whites" (will see about picking them up tomorrow)
and maybe a bit of that red Esq suggested before I can start.
Will post pics of fabs when I get 'm all.

It looks really complex, but the individual units are all manageable.

It will make a fabulous quilt.

Is this your first big quilt? I took on a queen size friendship quilt and got it done for a nieces wedding but, wow. should have done a few smaller ones and work up to a big one. beautiful pattern but lots of pieces. good luck and give yourself time to enjoy the process

I would like to make a B&W quilt for Trevor. Perhaps a nice lap size quilt for Christmas if I can swing it!

That's a great choice and since the block is so large you won't have to make many. Don''t forget to post. Seeing all the beautiful back and white blocks that people made for the sway makes me want to do one too.
