Default Thinner foam product?

I love using Soft and Stable and Pellon's Flex Foam, but they are a little thick for smaller projects. I looked online at Headliner fabric, and it said it was 3/16" thick, which seems about the same as the others to me. Is there a similar product that is a little thinner? Batting is not as firm as I want and Fusible Fleece is too thin.

Any suggestions?

You could get a 1/4 yard at Joann's.

You could use a double layer of fusible fleece. I've done it in a few projects with success.

Never have used anything like foam before. Just try what you think might work. I am using felt for the first time in a mini quilt.
