Thread from Connecting Threads?
#1
New to long arm quilting and need to get some thread. Anyone using or can comment on Connecting Threads Essential Pro thread? It is polyester 70wt and I would like to know what you think about lint, visibility, etc. The price looks good and was thinking of giving it a try. This was the closest description I could find to Wonderfil Invisifil at a great price. Ann in TN

i've been using threads from Connecting threads with great success for the past year-
lint is often caused by the fabrics/batting combination---and cotton threads
before i found them i was very frustrated with threads-
i recommend buying one cone-and giving it a try- be sure to use the correct needle for the thread and you might find it is exactly what you've been looking for.
if you are not sure about needle/ thread combinations visit the Superior Threads web site- they have free charts you can print off that tell you what size/type needle to use with all the different threads/weights, fiber contents.
personally i am very happy with the connecting threads - thread--i've been long-arm quilting for almost 10 years.
