Can any of you tell me about the bobbin washers? It sounds like they are some kind of miracle for FMQ. What are them made of? Are they thick or thin or stiff or what? I don't want to spend money on them and find they do not work. Please help me out with your comments.

I resisted buying them for a long time but finally gave in and it makes a big difference. It's a thin teflon washer.

I would love to try these. I have a question about what size I should buy for a DSM. On the Clothlide website there have two sizes, Little Genie Magic Bobbin Washers and Mega Genie Magic Bobbin Washers. I think I should buy little, right?

I got the Genie bobbin washers to use with my Bailey Home Quilter and love them. I have heard that Chuck, the owner of the company, says not to use them, but I find it makes the bobbins run smoothly and I have had no bobbin problems. So, I am SOLD on using them in my quilter. I see no reason they cannot be used in any machine.

I bought them, and to be honest, it made no difference in my FMQ. But, maybe that's just me. If you are interested, Sharon Schaumber has a you tube video you might find interesting:

Thank you for your help. That's what I thought but I wanted to confirm it.
