Lightbulb Thrifty Quilt book

Does anyone have Anne Wiens book Thrifty Quilter (nearly free quilts)? I have read fabulous reviews about the info within but that it is a waste of money for the quality of the book itself. I would love to have the book but trust your judgement better than the Amazon book reviews.
Thanks
Evelyn

I know what it costs but trying to see who has it, have they used it and would they recommend it. Was reading the reviews on Amazon but want quilting board input.
Thanks

It looks like an organization system for cutting leftover fabrics into useable sizes for scrap quilts. There are other methods out there, and probably quite a bit of info online. Let me see if I can link a few sites:

http://blog.shopmartingale.com/quilt...-quilt-scraps/

I would be put-off from buying the book because the reviews says it is color-copied rather than printed. That's being a little TOO thrifty for me!

Go with these sites and you'll be happier and save money. Just so many free patterns and tips in cyberspace.

It has 80 different block patterns in the book so was hoping someone else had used it. Guess I will wait to buy it for a few more months.

I found several of her blocks here:

Might be a start.

I have a friend who has the book and she is totally sold on the entire concept. There is also a Facebook group. My scraps are too scrappy for any organization!

I have purchased it in the past year. Have not used it yet, but am not disappointed in my purchase and fully intend to make full use of it sometime soon.

I appreciate the posting on this subject. After watching two of her video's, I'm ordering her Tucker Trimmer and her Wing Clipper. Both tools will make my piecing so much easier!!!
