Take off the sewing plate and then you can see down into the bobbin area. Taking the plate off also lets me see to oil the bobbin area. You will soon get used to where the lever should be (to the right as you hold it to pop in) . I am sure your dealer mentioned not to hold the lever out.

I'm thinking about buying a Tiara. How does it compare to the Sweet Sixteen? I know they're both made by HandiQuilter; the Tiara is marketed under the Baby Lock brand, but is one better than the other? Thank you, I appreciate any advice given
