    Default Tilted blocks

    I need some advice. I'd like to make a tilted block but am not sure how to tilt them. It's kind of like the tilted 4 patch on Quilters cache. I've seen ways of sewing strips onto the sides of the block and then trimming them down instead of sewing triangles onto the side. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

    I use a square ruler to trim the strips. I just "eyeball" the tilt.

    It is all illusion! You can designste a mark on each side of the ruler to keep it uniform on the corners. Just experiment.

    Yes, they are called wonky blocks. I use this glow line tape to mark the acrylic ruler so that the size of the blocks are consistent:
