Happy Birthday! I don't wait for my birthday. Sunday afternoons (unless we have company) are my time to 'play'. I try to do something new or work on a 'my' project. I find that giving myself the time to do something different really helps me be creative. Tomorrow's project is a BOM for my guild. I started it last week and really did not like the result but a week's worth of thinking has given me a very nice solution--I hope!

Happy birthday! Enjoy doing whatever you love. Mine is coming up at the end of July and it's a big one (70). I plan to go to my local fabric shop where they give a discount of half your age on your birthday. Then I plan to start a year-long quilt journal project with smaller blocks. Will try for several each week denoting what happened that week/day. Am using blocks from "The Splendid Sampler" as a jumping off point.
