I completely agree. I think it looks fabulous as is and I wouldn't take it apart.

That would be my advice as well. There is no "rule" that says sashing has to have cornerblocks. I do mine both ways, depending on the quilt (and my mood!).

Your quilt is very pretty and when I do something and then realize I didn't do it exactly as the pattern says-but it is OK I just decide that is my unique "take" on it. So I vote leave it alone-you can do cornerstones some other time. Good job!

Personally...there aren't corner stones for each block..not sure why you need corner stones on the border. I think it looks "great" as is.

Perhaps if you make a nice quilt design in the sashing or where the cornerstones would have gone, it might give it a more complete look as if you intended to leave out the cornerstones. Look at it as an opportunity to be creative.

Looks ok the way it is. Look on the bright side, you just made your quilt an "original". Seriously it looks fine the way it is, if you absolutely want to take it apart to add the cornerstones, thats OK too, personally I would leave it.

Great job both on construction and color choice. I think you should leave it as is. No one will know there was suppose to be cornerstones. I always chalk it up to a great learning experience.
