Here is a free tutorial for a denim circle rag bag I made. I ordered the denim circles from etsy - they were already snipped with the Accuquilt die.

You inspired me this weekend ( anything to do other than cleaning the upstairs after putting in 50 hours at work lol) so I checked the you tube link for the Origami tote and made this with leftover jelly roll strips. I tested it out by shopping and it holds quite a bit for the large size. Thank- you for sharing.

I have been strip piecing these QAYG. Very quick to make.

Just saw a tutorial for the Origami tote bag recently. Looked very interesting...

Thank you for posting all those pictures. I love them all.
I've been collecting tote and bag/basket patterns for a while now. I think I'm obsessed. And now, you all have given me a few more.

I posted a tutorial for this simple bag, made with 2.5" scrap squares. It's here:

This is the pattern I used to make two bags for a friend and I to take to a quilt show. They were nice and roomy for “potential purchases“ and for the straps I made sure we could carry the bags over our shoulders for two hands free fabric petting. Lol.
Quick easy and pretty tote bag.

I've seen bags made in the shape of chickens on sites like Pinterest. I made a cow tote bag as my first sewing project as an adult (it was a printed fabric you cut out and sewed, but I've got a copy of the pattern I'd be happy to email if anyone wants, just PM me).

There are totes made from the top portion of jeans, with colorful "belts" made with bandanas or other fabric. I've seen one someone made to look like the head of a highland cow (might have seen it on Facebook, but it was really cute!).
You could also make one with a two colored leather (I have one I really like that is black on the outside, red on the inside).
