Whittle's is maybe 15-20 minutes from Interstate 65 and well worth a visit! Prices are incredible!!!

ooops - forgot to add the link:

eta: On my 1st cup of coffee here and the Knoxville info translated in my brain as Fort Knox. So I guess you won't be on I-65

Oooo! I remember, Zooks just outside of Lancaster has them most awesome selection and fantastic prices. I got a piece there for a pillowcase for my DGS and though it was 100% cotton, almost felt like silk or satin (though not as heavy).

Good Afternoon. I live in Northeast Missisippi and will be opening Treasure Chest Quilting & More, tomorrow, May 3rd in Corinth, MS. Corinth has several Civil War sights along with Shiloh, TN which is only 15 minutes from Corinth. We would love to have you stop by and shop. We have over 2,000 bolts of fabric, patterns, notions and much more. Have a safe trip.

Needle and Thread just outside of Gettysburg has a huge selection of great fabrics, and also usually a large clearance section- my favorite place to hang out!

I just visited this shop for the first time with 3 other quiltingboard members. I have to say its a GREAT shop and the women there were really helpful and friendly! I'll most surely try to get there again! Its a little far for me, but it was worth the trip!

Shiloh has a great facility for Civil War buffs...and Corinth has a really good museum along with an interpretive trail you a can follow. Of course these are on the other side of TN from Knoxville, so maybe you can hit these on the way back.

Have a great trip!
