Sometimes if you know of an upcoming estate sale, you can ask for a preview. Often they will allow it so they don't have to spend so much more time keeping it open. You may have to pay more but you still save compared to going to the stores. I'm previewing one this evening and will have cash ready, as always. Also I take it with me at the time.

This quilter is south eastern part of stateis happy for you. I have left insturctions with my family that if something happens to me, that my quilt guild members can have whatever sewing things I have since kids do not want. Please post pics of some of your projects and the dresden plate when you get started on it.

That's going to be my stash that is the find when my daughters are selling everything I have when I pass on to the " big quilting store in the sky" lololol !!!!! They have NO CLUE to what and how much I have !!! Maybe I should just get a list of fellow quilters in the area who want to be contacted when I pass on hopefully on a tennis court somewhere. lol Hopefully that will be when I am in my 90s and have wittled down the stash a bit1!!! lol
