O.k. it's the last day of the year. You would think I could end the year withOUT buying more fabric! WRONG. We had new fabric come in today and I just had to buy some - UGH.

Of course you had to buy some!

And how pretty it looks sitting with the rest of your stash.

    Way to go!

Um--not to get personal here but do you take any paycheck home?? LOL--I sure wouldn't!! I'd just give it back and say I'll take that in fabric, thank you! Enjoy it--you deserve it.

Yes, I still take home a pay check. I used to work at Michael's and was into crafts at the time. My first paycheck ---- I owed them money. lol I've learned to budget since then.

I have always heard that whatever you do the first day of the year, is what you will do all year long!
Maybe I should go material shopping Tomorrow! lol

So far I've been on this quilt board, facebook and done laundry. Next is to watch the Rose Parade and then work on sewing room.

It's a "dirty" job and someone had to do it. Thank you for saving me from carrying that burden (oops I bought some too last night on ebay).

Is this a sign of things to come for 2010? :-D

Well, despite deciding I don't need to do any shopping, I'm afraid that tomorrow morning I'm up before the birds start tweeting and I'm getting ready for some fabric shopping.

There... it's worked... you've tempted me into it!

When fabric is there to be purchased, how can you NOT. Great for the economy, too. :P

i keep thinking I need to go and the fabric store is having a sale, famous last words. it isn't like I need any more, I did 4 quilts last summer and did them all with what was on the shelves, the only thing that I am really short on is Batting, I could do a dozen quilts and still not need to do anything but batting.

Well, I went to the sale at Keepsake Quilting in Center Harbor, NH today and did a little damage. Only got 4 1/2 yards though and a pattern. It was so clever. The sample for the pattern was right by the line for the cutting table with the patterns right there...how could I resist? 20% off storewide too.
So, maybe this means that I will still be buying fabric throughout the coming year. (Oh yay, that was a given, right?)

Beachlady...........you know !!!!! I used to get up and get dressed and get right into something constructive...but as you mentioned, I also am still in the PJs and on the computer. I did manage to get the coffee made and devoured a cup when I turned on the computer.

    Good morning all.......MaryJane
