Default Trip Around the World

I want to make a queen-size Trip Around the World. To enlarge it from a smaller size (lap, twin, full) would I make the squares bigger, add more colors???? I found a queen-size pattern that showed using a lot more colors/patterns than I wanted to use. Any suggestions or links to a pattern? Thanks.

I think the more colors the more the pattern shows.

I had quite a few colors and prints and I just kept going with the pattern until it was the size I wanted. I did it the old way with one square at a time, that was a lot of years ago. I really liked how it turned out. I had the pattern on graph paper with the colors marked with colored pencil, they were the good old days.lol

it's your choice, are you aiming for quick? bigger squares. don't care about quick, more colors if you like that look...the choice is up to you... No Wrong Way to Quilt...

I think you could do either. Larger blocks will give larger areas of the same color. Small blocks with more colors will make it more colorful. Either will be beautiful.
