I rewatched the tutorial on the pillowcase and I had left the 9" piece folded. It was so tight and would never have turned out. I will now sew it right. Dumb me!

Did you refer back to a tute on the web to see what you may have done? There are some good tutorials on the web to help you out. I just type in Magic Pillowcase in my search and tutes will come up.
