Line up the ruler again and start slicing all along the strip

There is a few stitches at the point so pull those out, take your iron and press open, you now have two similar but different blocks.

With every different color strip you get two different blocks.

Now for lay out you can use any of the ones that use the two tone blocks, like the log cabin, I have to find a few more strips to do a few more but you get the picture.

It is extremely easy, I have to run out for a bit, but when I get back I will be talking about strips and stuff and how to get it all to work out, I am going to a fabric store, mostly for costume fabric but you never know what I will come home with.

It does go really fast. The hardest part is the layout. Figuring out what do to with all of the blocks when they are done.

There is a very simple tube quilt in Quick Quilts magazine, Summer 2010. This one makes rows of squares, comes out on diagonal.
