Can someone tell me why the blades on my Titanium Nitride Fiskars softtouch clippers have turned a deep gold color? It freaked me out when I went into my sewing den and saw them today...they were the usual metallic silver color yesterday.

I don't have a clue that is weird. Maybe a leprochaun stopped by and that is your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. :)

I am guessing something in the air that the blades were exposed to.

What did your teenager cut with them when you weren't looking? Some things can change the colour of the metal.

Could it be that the humidity in the air caused a reaction in the metal?
