Found this somewhere and saved. I assume she used 5" squares and the small twister template. Add the border before cutting.

A heart might not be quite as symetrical because you usually have a heart that is smooth around the edges. Where as the wreath is not. But make sure if you get one figured out you post it here. I would love to see it. I was going to make hearts out of log cabin, now you have me thinking on trying this.
One thing I have found when making Twister patterns that small is to press all of the seams open. It will not only help with the bulk but it also helps prevent you from getting too frustrated while working on it. (I do a lot of Twister quilts and have designs for about 13 different ones for seasons, months, and holidays that are in the process of being copywritten and will be out soon.)

Takes some thinking to set up a specific design with these. I love the wreath.

Now that it is Valentines day I was thinking on how to make a heart wreath and I cannot seem to make it come out right.
Anyone on here wanna help me figure it out? Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Kirsten

The pattern for the heart is in the "Let's Twist Again" book! I've ordered my charm packs and hopefully will have time to stitch it next week. Look on the Batiks, Etc. website under classes, they are offering a class on Feb. 4th and show a picture of the heart. It is layed out a little different than the book and I personally like it better!

Looks like someone came up with a pattern - here's the link: http://fatesdesigns.blogspot.com/201...cky-charm.html.... I'll admit I'm not sure if it looks "shamrocky" enough.
