I just call hubby into my room. For some reason he will find ALL pins on the floor in his bare feet. I can walk on that floor barefoot all day and not get stuck......

Oh, those useful husbands of ours, don't we love when they are "finally able to find something on their own?"

You should have seen the floor in the room I taught my grandsons to sew!!! We needed your husband then...

You might be able to find the telescoping magnet some place that sells tools. My DH has one for working on cars and such. (even tho I stole it for the same reason ....spilled pins :D) Hope that this helps...might even be cheaper than quilting supplies. :D

I have two pin cushions and am planning on getting another that sits on my wrist. I usually find fallen pins with my feet. The joys of size 12 feet.

You can buy magnetic pin holders at Walmart alot cheaper than Joanns.
I use a walking foot for stitch in the ditch and a free motion darning foot with the feed dogs down for free motion.
