I never make the same quilt twice just for that reason. There are so many patterns out there that I would love to do, I just can't do the same one twice. Although both of yours are very beautiful.

Liked the first one better, advise on quilting projects, don't get too many at once, it becomes overwhelming, trust me on that.

Both are just beautiful. Yes I do have trouble making two by the same pattern. I made my DGS one (my avatar) and I had the material to make his brother one like it, and I have just now finished it. Will never make two just alike if I can help it.

Both are beautiful. The first would go best in my home, but love the 2nd a little better. I cannot make 2 of a kind of anything, I love to try new things, so to make 2 would not work for me with so many patterns out there. I ceratainly see why you would want to make to of the Ginny Beyer Kinabalu pattern, love it.

I like the first one better. I find that some quilts are just so exciting to start, but then midway through something goes haywire and I lose interest. Others I can't wait to finish. I love flying geese, and could make that pattern all day every day.
