I like both colors. But I do agree, doing two of the same thing in a row is not for me. I made two granddaughters the card trick, by quilt in a day. Just different colors, and by the time I was finished with the second one, I was really tired of the pattern. I think that's why I jump from one thing to another, just to keep me fresh. I want to make the Lil Twister wreaths for Christmas presents next year. I want to make 5 more. But I won't do them in a row. I love the pattern and I don't want to ruin it for me.

I am so new at this I want everything to be perfect. I do not mind doing the same pattern, by the time I am finished I know I will get all the kinks out. I do have a question and maybe you can help me.
I made all the blocks 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 but when it came to making the angle blocks it seemed to be too small to fit. So I went and made them 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 and when I did the 1/4 inch seam they were also too small to fit in the 3 1/2 blocks. so I ripped the 1/4 seem and made them smaller which seemed to fit very well. What size should I have made them to fit correctly with 1/4 inch seems. And will it hurt my quilt if the seams are smaller.

Both are great, but with being in the winter hibernation mode still, you can guess which one I am attrached to --today. But keep the other one handy for tomorrow--hopefully. Good job!
