The second one really jumps out at you. Both beautiful.

I like the 2nd one best because of the colors but I agree both are lovely - I get board doing the same pattern twice in a row... I like the challenge of learning new blocks and patterns.. I can however make a lot of zig zag quilts for some reason those don't bore me .... variety is great!

Does anyone have the pattern to share? I assume since it was in a magazine it can be reproduced. I would like to do one of these.

First one is my favorite. You can't go wrong with Jinny Beyer designs.

I guess I need a little more variety, or at least more than one project at a time. Anyone else have that issue. By the way which color do you like best?

I like them both. I also tend to get bored with doing the same pattern. Even when I'm doing the D9P, my favorite pattern for a quick quilt, I turn them differently for a different layout for variety.

I usually do a different project before going back to the same pattern.

I like them both. they are awesome.
At least you can make the pattern all the way thru and get a finished product that looks like the pattern. I can't even get thru one pattern without changing it. I always start out with a pattern, cut all the pieces and half way thru change my mind and start rearranging the pattern. Next thing I know, I have a completely different pattern than what I started with.
