Not a very large show, but beautiful work on display from the guild members, silent auction and a quilt raffle. Also, about 15 vendors. One vendor had fat quarters in a basket, but there was no price on them...I asked how much $ and she told me $1 each. I guess because the other vendors had them for 2.50 and up, nobody took time to ask about them. So, I took the basket and put it on a chair so I could see and I went through them. I picked out 50 FQ's, most of which I found two of. About 3/4 of the way through looking, others started digging too and grabbing. One lady even helped me find matches to the ones I had layed out. I think the vendor will sell all of the FQ's now, she told me she was going to leave them up off the floor so they are easier to reach. Vendor happy, me extremely happy...lots of these are MODA fabrics, not sure how many as they were folded and rolled. Also bought some patterns and wide rick rack.
I also sat through the most amazing woman's lecture and trunk show. ***Kaye England was the guest speaker and the lecture was free with show admission. She is the funniest, most down to earth person you will ever meet. All of the classes were filled already for fri. night, sat, and sunday. I bought a CD of her techniques and she autographed a book that I got there. I also talked to some of the local members before I left the show and I am going to go to their next meeting as a visitor in a couple of weeks. I had the most amazing unplanned day. Had to share!

Oh you are lucky, I tried to see Kay at our show in Loveland but she had to cancel because her husband was hospitalized. I had heard the same, that she is great to listen to. What a nice day! Glad you had a good time. :)
