    Your butterfly fabric that is on the black background would have made a much better selection for a OBW or Stack 'n Wack. It has some background without being too much or packed so tight you can't see the background. You have some good contrasts between the butterflies and between the butterflies and the background. There are interesting shapes that lend themselves to the OBW or SNW, and finally the butterflies vary in size. Not sure what the repeat measurements are. All that being said, I like your new design. WTG - you have not wasted your material. Do hope you post the completed quilt so we can admire the finished project too!

    Wow, talk about making lemonade out of lemons! That is a great use of the original fabric. And you did such a great job of adding just the right fabrics to make it all work. Get that sewn and post another photo when it is finished.
