Must be that Swiss resolve.
I'd be shouting from the rooftops!
I remember when you first posted your vision - and it turned out beautifully.
We are our own worst critics.
Congratulations on a well-deserved (and earned) award.
Maybe nobody mentioned my rating because I would not have won a flowerpot on an US country fair with it!?

84%.
Now, granted, the Swiss educational system is way better than the US, but I think 84 is much more than respectable. Even in CH.
And you shouldn't be comparing the score against others.
You should be comparing it to the judge's vision of what a perfect 10 score would encompass. And not all judges have the same vision/standards.
All it means is those are areas in which you maybe could improve your technique. Or firm up your design vision. I didn't have time to translate the whole thing.
It's meant as constructive criticism, not negative.
Not to be taken personally at all.
Maybe Sharon Schamber gets 10's (OK, I'm sure she would) but the rest of us mere mortals would be thrilled with an 8.4 scoring.
What did it say in the comments section?

The lowest mark I see is a 6.8 for Quilting (down at the bottom).
Was that for the stitching or how the quilting design fit the quilt top?
So she's telling you something. Maybe she thought it needed more quilting, or less. Or maybe the it was SiTD and she thought it should have been more fluid (I'm just using that as an example). You can agree or disagree. You can enter it another show and get a totally different sheet back. It's one (or two) judge's opinion.
And can we please remember they gave it a first place ribbon?????
But if I ever entered a show and got that sheet back, I'd be THRILLED.
For a first entry, and an originally designed piece??? THRILLED!!!
Feel better now?

Um, that's an 84 out of 100.

O.k. I think you are right. On the more than respectable thing I mean.
Will try hard to work on my quilting and try to improve on all other subjects as well. Might be easier than getting trilled about 84%............
