Default update on string quilt and questios

As I was reading the replies to my string quilt post. I suddenly realized I did something bad. One of the tuts I looked at said string quilts was a good place to use up fabrics that weren't 100 % cotton. So I cut up some cool mismatched napkins. I just realized the napkins have been washed many times but none of the other fabric has! What will happen? There are 5 of the 50 plus squares with the napkins in them

the cottons might shrink a bit , the napkins won't but that would be the same if you used any other non cotton fabric mixed with unwashed cottons- I would think it will be fine Think of it as adding character

it'll be fine... the different contents and sizes will help balance one another ... it's a real good place to use up all that 'stuff' you're not quite sure what to do with it...

Don't worry, it will just add more interest to the finished quilt.

was it foundation pieced? if so, no worries at all. Even if not, there is so much holding each piece together that it should not be a problem. Definitely, not bad. so relax. it's fine.

Thanks again. Yes it is foundation. What fun that is and it looks so nice even with all the mixed up colors
