Using glue on quilt tops
#11
Elmer's is wet. a glue stick is pastie....no ironing. I have ironed over it with no problem. The Avery glue stick says permanent, but it will wash out. Doghousemom, here on the board put me on to it. It can be moved around. I have a spiked hair do also, the clear glue (Elmer's) is a new thought for me also. Good to know I will not drip in the rain.......Of course here in Texas we are in drought, so I don't see rain as a problem. Thank you, I love this board. M

I have used Elmers School glue for several years. Never have had any problems with it. It flattens out, no bumps or lumps. It is easy to sew through, doesn't gum up on the needle either.
Give it a try on some scraps, you will see it is quite an asset to have :D:D:D
