I have found the best glue stick.....It is made by Elmer's and the color is "PURPLE" soluble. Works great....JoAnn's carry it.....I will never buy a different glue stick.

I use them a lot! As long as label says washable..they should be fine..I have a fridge full of them! I just used them for lining up 9 patch rows..I have never, ever gotten such precise seams before with any other method! I glued, lined them up, then flipped the top fabric back to check..if seams weren't exactly right, the glue is "greasy" and you can easily slide the top fabric to the right or left, until it's perfect, then pinch it to set it, and sew away...easiest method I've ever used.

I use Elmer's white school glue. It is fabulous for getting "points' just right. If the kids can eat it, as they get in on their hands and lick it off; it can't hurt fabrics! LOL!!!

no problem with glue stick... check only that it has to be "solvent free"!

I've had glue sticks in my refrigerator for a long time, but not in plastic bags.
They are now!<label for="rb_iconid_7"></label>
