Says it came out Oct 2011.I just saw this at my dealers.Wow! Im in love. The first thing I noticed was the lighting, then she goes on to tell me about all the other features my 11000 se doesn`t have!
I think I`m trading up. Can`t wait to call today to say I will take it!
Anyone have one?Thoughts?

next week i am going to fargo and visit my janome store and look at different machines.
cant wait to see them. i will also be trading up.

MSRP at one of my semi-close by quilt shops is $12,999.00. YIKES!!! I bought my Janome 11000se AND a Baby Lock Evolutions serger, both brand new in the boxes, for just over $7,000 two years ago. As much as I'd like to, I seriously doubt that I could ever affort to trade up. Good for you guys though - I'm a bit envious.

I love my Janome 12000; Fargo dealer is super as far as service too. Great people to deal with !!

I traded up from the 11000SE to the 12000 and love it. My dh was the on that decided I needed the 12000 - and so glad he did!

just got back from Grand Rapids MI quilt show and they were selling them for 8 thou with hundred spools of thread and a cabnet!
I`m just getting the machine in canada for that price.
